Take Bottle Gourd and peel the outer green skin and keep aside.
Grate it and keep away the seed part of it. - 2
After grating, squeeze excess water.
Assemble other ingredients - 3
Now heat 1 tsp ghee in pan / kadhai, roast dry fruits and keep aside.
Now add remaining ghee and allow to medium heat, add grated bottle gourd and sauté for around 10 minutes till moisture evaporates and we get nice aroma from it. - 4
It takes around 8-10 minutes to dry up.

Add milk and stir well. Allow to cook.

Cook under medium heat for around 8-9 minutes.

By now bottle gourd absorbed milk and is cooked well, mixture thickens.

Add Mawa / Khoya and mix well, break it and gradually it melts and allow to cook for around 5 minutes.

Add sugar and mix well, sugar melts and releases water, cook further to dry up water.

Gradually water / moisture is evaporated and it starts bubbling. It takes around 2-3 minutes.

Cook further for 5-6 minutes till we get the texture of Halwa, lastly add cardamom powder + dry fruits and mix well. Halwa is done.

Garnish with dry fruits and it is ready to serve.
