Lotus stem curry

Peel and wash Lotus stem.

Cut them in thick slices. Boil them till 3/4 done

Heat oil in pan add chopped onion. Cook till light brown

Add chopped tomatoes, green chilli, coriander powder, turmeric powder,red chili powder garam masala powder and salt mix.

Cover and cook till tomatoes are soft mash.

Now add water and boiled Lotus stem.bowl for five mnts.

Remove from fire.
- 8
Serve hot with rice or chapati.
