Rava upma is a simple, easy , delicious and healthy recipe and my family's favourite one. It is a fulfilling breakfast and lasts longer. I have taken winter season vegetables to prepare the recipe and the chutney is made with green coriander leaves.

Arrange the ingredients.

Heat oil in a wok. Add ponch phutan and let them crackle. Add curry leaves, chopped onions and hing. Saute on low flame till aromatic and onions become translucent.

Add urad dal and chopped veggies. Saute for two minutes, adding turmeric and salt. Add sambar masala powder.

Now add the water and bring to boil. Slow down the flame and gradually add the roasted semolina, stirring continuously to avoid lump formation. Add lemon juice and stir well.
