  • 1 cupbasmati rice 🍚
  • 3/4 cupmixed lentils (split black gram, split yellow lentil)
  • And split chickpeas add in above mixed lentils
  • 1 tbspginger garlic paste 🧄
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 2cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • 2finely chopped onions 🧅
  • 3/4 tspkashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️
  • Salt to taste 🧂
  • 3-4 tbspoil
  • 3/4 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1finely chopped tomato 🍅
  • 2 tbspgreen chillies paste
  • 1 tspcoriander cumin powder
  • 2 cupswater 💦

    Soak split black gram, yellow split lentil, split chickpeas lentil for 5-6 hrs, keep aside, later soak basmati rice 🍚 for 30 mins, keep aside.

    Heat oil, add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks saute for 1 min, add finely chopped onions 🧅, cook till pink in colour, add ginger garlic paste 🧄 and mix well, cook for 1 min,add finely chopped tomato 🍅 and mix well. Cook till oil comes out, add all three lentils (soaked split black gram, split yellow, split chickpeas) don't add water in which lentils are soaked.

    Add kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, black pepper powder, coriander cumin powder, salt 🧂, garam masala powder, green chillies paste and mix well, cook for 2 mins, add soaked rice 🍚 and mix well, add water 💦 and let it boil.

    When half of the water 💦 is dried out, cover and cook till all the water is dried out, rice is tender, serve hot with plain yogurt, salad.
