Nettle Frittata

This is a simple yet flavorful dish that reminds me of my childhood, when we would make a frittata with nettles at home. Please note that there are different types of nettle plants, and not all are edible. If you’re unsure about the differences, it’s best to buy nettles from a market where they are sold for cooking.

Steps
- 1
Gather all your ingredients.
- 2
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the salt, and beat well. Add the cooked nettles to the beaten eggs.
- 3
Mix thoroughly. Heat a skillet with the olive oil over medium heat. When hot, pour in the egg and nettle mixture. Cook on one side, covered with a lid. When set, flip the frittata with the help of a plate and cook the other side. Transfer to a plate and serve. It’s delicious even at room temperature.
