Spanish-Style Meatballs in Sauce

Steps
- 1
Soak the 2 slices of sandwich bread in a shallow dish with enough milk to cover the bottom.
- 2
Place the ground meat in a large bowl and break it up if needed. Add the milk-soaked bread and the 3 eggs to the bowl. Mix until everything is well combined.
- 3
Once mixed, form the mixture into balls (any size you like) and coat them in breadcrumbs. Heat oil in a skillet to about halfway up the sides. When the oil is hot, add the meatballs and fry until golden brown.
- 4
For the sauce: Cook the flour in a skillet with the butter.
- 5
Once the mixture starts to brown and the butter toasts the flour, gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly.
