تیل گرم کر کے اس میں پیاز ساتے کریں اور ٹماٹر ڈال دیں۔

اس کے بعد اس میں دال پانی سمیت اور 2 کپ مزید پانی،تمام مصالحے سوائے زیرہ اور ادرک لہسن ڈال کے پکنے کو رکھ دیں۔

جب دال گاڑھی ہو جائے تو چولہا بند کر دیں۔

اب فرائی پین میں تیل گرم کریں،اسمیں ادرک/لہسن پیسٹ اور زیرہ فرائی کر کے تڑکا لگا دیں۔

دال کو ڈش میں نکال کر اوپر ہرا مصالحہ چھڑک لیں اور ابلے۔ اول کے ساتھ تناول فرمائیں۔
