Chop Tomatoes

In moderately heated pan add butter, add bay leaf + cardamom + cloves + cinnamon + ginger and allow to crackle.
Then add chopped tomatoes + salt and sauté. - 4
Sauté for 5-6 minutes by adding green chilli under medium heat.

Tomato turns mushy.

Add 1/2 cup water and cook tomatoes for 4-5 minutes. Switch off flame.

Allow to cool and discard bay leaf+ cloves + cardamom + cinnamon + green chilli.
Transfer to grinder jar by adding slight water and blend into smooth paste. - 8
Strain all residue like seeds and peel.
Final Tomato purée is ready. - 9
Then heat pan add butter, pour the tomato mixture and add hot water as per preferred consistency, also add Coriander stems and cook for few minutes like 4-5 minutes.
Lastly add salt + sugar + pepper powder according to preferred taste. - 10
Cook further for 2-3 minutes. Strain it again to discard the cooked Coriander stems.

Tomato soup is done.

Serve into individual bowl / cupsvand serve hot hot.
