Heat ghee in a kadai add bay leaf, all whole garam masala, ginger and fennel seeds mix it well and saute till fragrant. Then add cashew nuts and raisins fry them.

Now add sliced onions, mix and saute till onion turn golden brown. Add soaked rice mix it well.

Then add 2 cups of water, salt, stir to mix, cover and cook till the rice is cooked fully done.

Ghee Rice is ready. Garnish with fried onion and fried dry fruits and serve.
