Ingredients

  • 2 slicesbread (your choice)
  • 1tomato
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • 1garlic clove
  • 0.5 tspsalt
  • 0.5 tspground black pepper
  • 1 tsplime juice
  • 3-4thai basil leaves

    Toast the bread slices, such that a little brown crust is formed. This will keep the bread for getting soggy with the oil/juices

  2. 2

    Cut up the tomato, scoop out the seeds and gloopy pulp. Chop into fine pieces

  3. 3

    Smash the garlic cloves with the back of a knife or a pestle and finely chop

  4. 4

    Chop the basil leaves to get long thin strands

  5. 5

    Combine the tomato, basil, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a bowl

  6. 6

    Divide into two equal portions and spread on the toasted slices. Drizzle a bit of olive oil or pepper according to taste
