Mix the cake mix according to the package directions and preheat the oven to the temperature on the box instructions. Grease a bundt pan and set aside.

Separate the cake batter evenly into 5 bowls. Dye each bowl of cake batter a different color (red, yellow, green, blue and purple. I skipped orange to have enough cake mix to make an even layer of each color in the pan.)

Start with the red cake batter and pour it evenly into the bottom of the bundt pan. Pour the yellow batter over top the red, the green over top the yellow, the blue over top the green and the purple as the last layer. For each layer, do your best to make it even and to not mix the layers together.

Bake for the recommended time for bundt pan on the box (mine took 33 minutes at 350°F, but everyone's oven is different). A toothpick inserted into the cake should come out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are ok). Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 or so minutes, then flip it onto a cooling rack.

Once the cake has cooled completely, make the glaze. In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, vanilla, milk and salt all together until smooth (should be on the thicker side, but still thin enough to drizzle). Drizzle it evenly over the cake. You can serve as is or continue to decorate it however you like (the one pictured is for St. Patrick's day).
