Ingredients

  1. 2 c.Warm water
  2. 1/2 cwhite sugar
  3. 1 1/2 tbspactive dry yeast
  4. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 c.Vegetable oil
  6. 5-6 cflour
  7. Dip
  8. 8 ozcream cheese
  9. 8 ozsour cream
  10. 1 tspGarlic powder
  11. 1 tsponion powder
  12. 1har dried beef, minced
  13. do not add salt

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl, dissolve 1 tbsp sugar in warm water and stir in yeast. Allow to proof until creamy foam appears (approx. 5 minutes)

    Mix remaining sugar, salt, and oil into the yeast. Then mix 1 cup of flower at a time. Knead for 7 minutes (hook attachment)

    Place in a well-oiled bowl and turn to coat.

    Cover with a damp cloth..allow to rise into doubled in bulk (approx 1 hour)

    Punch dough down..knead 1 minute and divide in half.

    Allow to rise in bowls for 30 minutes.

    Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

    DIP:
    Mix ingredients, if breadbowls are available, scoop center of bowl out (after cooled) and add dip mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees.
