I had leftover sliced cheese and thinly sliced pork meat, and wanted to use them up.

You can use any type of meat, so adjust the size of the cheese according to the size of the meat (I recommend small).
Please roll it up so that the cheese is well wrapped.
The cheese may melt out of the rolls if you do not wrap properly. For 2 servings. Recipe by Bottna

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 200 gramsThinly sliced pork loins
  2. 3 sliceMelting sliced cheese
  3. 1 dashSalt, pepper
  4. 1Plain flour
  5. 2 tspSake (for steaming)
  6. For the Teriyaki sauce:
  7. 1 tbspSugar
  8. 1 tbspMirin
  9. 1 1/2 tbspSoy sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Spread out the meat, roll up so that the cheese doesn't come out of the sides, lightly season with salt and pepper, and coat all over with flour. Mix the teriyaki sauce together.

    Heat oil in a frying pan, place the meat rolls from step 1 with the overlap facing down, and cook until it becomes a light golden brown color on both sides. Add sake, cover with a lid, and steam cook.

    Add teriyaki sauce after cooking until golden brown all over, and bring to a boil. Coat the rolls in teriyaki sauce until they're glazed, while shaking the pan back and forth, and it is done.
