Prep and measure all ingredients:
1. Cut asparagus
2. Crush and chop garlic.
3. Gather and measure ingredients to marinate the meat.See pic below for reference.

A. THE MEAT
Add ground white pepper and sugar to your meat bowl. Mix well. Next, mix in oyster sauce, shaoxing wine and cooking oil. Add corn flour and mix everything well. Leave aside to marinate.

B. VEGETABLE
While meat is marinating, prepare your asparagus. Stir fry asparagus with 2-3 tbsp of preheated oil until it's bright green. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Using the same wok or pan, add few tablespoons of cooking oil. Once it's heated or hot enough, add meat slices, spreading into single layer and AVOID crowding the pan so the meat slices are well caramelized and seared. Make sure to cook over good high heat. Cook until the meat is lightly brown. Add garlic and continue to stir for another minute. Turn the heat down.

Stir in asparagus. Add a pinch of chicken seasoning powder/chicken bouillon or salt. Add a tbsp of sesame oil. Stir. Taste and adjust seasonings accordingly before removing from the heat. Serve warm.
