Oven roasted to perfection. Juicy and luscious Asparagus is absolutely an excellent treat for a healthy Snacking or a special holiday Brunch for your loved ones. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it's a winner hands down.
Asparagus has a slight earthiness and bitterness balanced simultaneously by the slight sweetness. It can be compared to that of Broccoli, Green Beans and Artichokes in terms of flavour.
It's rich in Vitamins like A, C and Folic acid. A fibrous Vegetable that is gut friendly and also lowers the blood pressure levels. For all these reasons and more, it can be considered as a healthy addition to our everyday diet.
It can be used in a variety of dishes namely a few like Salads, Stir Frys, Pastas etc. An amazing Vegetable that can be relished on any day. It gets done quickly without much hassles too.

Steps

Wash them well under running water and cut the hard stalks at the end of each of the asparagus.

Mix well all the ingredients as mentioned. Arrange them side by side on a parchment paper lined baking tray. Meanwhile preheat the oven on 180° and set the timer to a good 40 minutes.

After 10 minutes of the stipulated time, keep the tray in the oven. Roast for the rest of the time remaining which nearly equals to 25-30 minutes. Every oven has different temperature settings, so please take care about that. Mine took almost 30 minutes.

Serve them immediately as soon as they are out of the oven. Sizzling and piping hot. Enjoy!
