I have a added methi flavour to the regular chole preparation, and believe me, turned out super delicious, you will love it especially if you like methi taste.

Boil soaked chickpeas and potato for 2 whistles. Assemble all the items. Heat oil, add bayleaf, ground masala paste, fry till Masala leaves oil from sides. Add chopped methi leaves, fry for 2 mins, then add the tomato purée and cook by constantly stirring for few minutes.

Add dry masalas: salt, turmeric, coriander, chilli powder to the masala and mix. Next add chickpeas and potato, give a good mix, pour in a cup of water and kasoori methi. Cover and cook in medium until the gravy becomes thick.

Switch off and finish it up with a dash of garam masala. Enjoy along with literally anything like: rice, roti, paratha, puri etc.
