For first marination - Take paneer pieces add salt, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice mix it well and keep 10-15 minutes for marination.

For second marination-
Take a grinder jar add coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, onion slices, green chillies, soaked cashew nuts, cheese cubes and grind it with little water to make a thick paste. - 3
Take whisked curd in a bowl add unsweetened cream and mix it well then add grounded seconds marination paste and mix properly.

Now add kasuri methi, chaat masala, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt mix it well. Marination is ready.

Now marinate the paneer pieces in this mixture and keep aside for 10-12 minutes.

Heat a grill pan add butter and oil and cook the paneer. Cook it on one side and flip to the other on high heat. Once grill marks are achieved take out in a plate, keep aside.

For the curry heat a kadai add ghee and oil add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, grated ginger, cloves and saute few seconds then add remaining marination paste and cook slowly, add little water and cook another 3-4 minutes, It thick but flowing consistency. Now add grilled paneer pieces and mix it. Turn off the flame. Afghani Paneer is ready.
