As we are celebrating international millet year I prepared Shorghum & Pearl millet mix dhokla for tiffin box...full of calcium & fibres.. it's healthy , tasty and gives filling effect too.

Ingredients

20 minits
1 tiffin box
  1. 1/2 cupShorghum flour (coarse)
  2. 1/2 cupPearl Millet flour
  3. 1tab.spoon black lentil flour
  4. 1 cupcurd
  5. Warm water as required
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Baking soda as required
  8. 2-3 tablespoonoil
  9. 2 teaspoonRed chilly powder to sprinkle
  10. 2 table spoonchopped coriander leaves
  11. For serving:-
  12. curd
  13. Chutney
  14. Pickle

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the three flours and soak over night with curd and warm water (8 to 10 hours) for improving batter.

    Now boil some water in steamer, grease and pre heat a dhokla plate....take batter in a bowl add solt, 1/2t.spoon baking soda and 1teaspoon oil...pour some water and stir till become fluffy...pour it in greased plate...sprinkle Red chilly powder...steam for 15 minits.

    Do same for another plate...now cut Dhoka as per your choice...our tiffin box recipe is ready...pack tiffin box and enjoy the tasty treat with chutney and pickle.
