Mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt in a big bowl.

Get another bowl to mix the sugar with lemon zest.

Add in eggs and vanilla extract and mix them well. And then add in buttermilk and oil. Make sure they are all mixed well together. Finally, add in the flour ingredients from the step 1 to form the muffin batter.

Put a tablespoon of flour into the berries and cherries (uncored)

Add the floured fruits into the muffin batter.

Cube the cold unsalted butter and mix all the crumble ingredients together by hands or a food processor.

Divide the muffin batter evenly and put the crumble topping on the top. Bake in 180°C oven for 20 minutes. Use a cake tester to make sure the muffins are cooked. Let the muffins cold down before serving.
