Strawberries set in Strawberry Jelly

Gary Waite @cook_20376404

Is the first time that I have ever made a homemade liquid water fruit jelly - did sweeten with Caster Sugar - the Recipe is similar to Gelatine Leaf Pannacotta , but instead of the Dairy products of Double Cream and Pasteurized Cow Milk - I blitzed Strawberries with cold tap water and then gently simmered on the hob stove

Steps

  1. 1

Will need 2 large mixing bowl's. In a very large Mixing Bowl add lots of cold tap water and then place all your Strawberries in it - with a small sharp Kitchen knife cut the green Strawberry tops off and leave them in the water and place the trimmed Strawberry in the other large mixing bowl and so on

  2. 2

Place 20 Strawberries on a small Plate and then gradually blitz all the other Strawberries in a Blender (Nutri Ninja Blender etc.) along with fresh cold water - 600ml at a time - too the maximum mark on the Nutri Ninja Blending Cup and place the cold fruit soup into your emptied large mixing bowl and then proceed with 3 more blendings

  3. 3

Add 200g Caster Sugar or White Granulated Sugar too a medium sized saucepan and then pour the uncooked Strawberry soup over the sugar in the Saucepan and then gently heat through on the lowest hob heat (will take as long as 15 minutes) until very hot - once hot - place a large amount of cold tap water in a very large Mixing Bowl and then place all 16 Gelatine Leaf in the cold water for 5 minutes and then place over the top of the hot Strawberry Soup. Stir

  4. 4

With 2 large empty Mixing Bowl's add 10 Strawberries in each and if One large mixing bowl is larger than the other - then ladle 2 in the very large Mixing Bowl and just 1 (One) in the large Mixing Bowl - keep applying until all the hot Strawberry Soup has been used up and then keep in the Fridge overnight until the jelly has set. Is 2 large amounts and so they will take longer too set

My first ever attempt at making a large homemade fruit jelly has failed ( have never made a small One neither ) and so I don't have a Photo to prove my success yet . The Internet shows some people producing fruit jellies from individual fruit flavoured Jelly Powders
