Wash and soak rice 4 hrs with enough water mix both the dals and methi dana seeds and soak that too with enough water grind the served rice to a fine paste by adding appropriately 1.5 cups of water add little water first do not add the water together similarly grind rice selved daals to now mix both rice and daal add salt keep it covered in a deep vessel for fementing at least for 8 hrs.

Heat the Tawa griddle and brush with some oil Sprinkle some water and after it sizzler off pour a ladleful of the batter. Spread out into a circle motion with the back of the ladle. Drizzle some butter over and around the edges. Cook till it is golden brown on one side. Flip it over and other side too till done.

Serve them hot with sambhar.
