Very economical, perfect for a snack, and fills the house with the wonderful rich aromas of cinnamon and citrus. Made without butter, using ingredients we usually have at home. The honey gives them a special flavor, and they will surely be loved by everyone, regardless of age.
Steps
- 1
Mix the baking soda with the juice until it dissolves and pour it into a deep bowl. Add all the other ingredients, with the flour added last, gradually, until you have an oily dough that can be shaped.
- 2
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Shape the dough into round cookies and either press them flat or make a hole in the middle. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Bake in the preheated oven for up to half an hour or until they are golden. Do not touch them when they come out of the oven until they cool. Store in a glass jar or plastic container with a lid, and they will last for many days.
