Unbelievably Low Calorie Banana Matcha Okara Scones

cookpad.japan

I wanted to try to make really low calorie scones.

It's a really lazy recipe.
By using banana as the sweetener instead of sugar, you can cut calories a lot. You can eat this without guilt even if you're on a diet.
I vary this recipe a lot. You can double the ingredients too. For 6 scones. Recipe by Omochitaro

Mash the banana so that it combines well with the other ingredients. Mix the contents of the bag well over the bag with your hands until it's matcha colored.

Empty the contents of the bag on parchment paper, and form into a ball.

  4. 4

Cut into 6 pieces with a knife or with cookie cutter. The dough is crumbly, so just stick it together with your fingers.

For the fresh okra, is that the green vegetable? Do you mash it or how do you prepare it for this recipe?
