Meat Sauce for Lazy Daddies

This is my husband's favorite recipe. I ask him to make this in large batches every week, so that I can come up with different variations. He makes it every week, and constantly improves on it.

Steps
- 1
Boil the spaghetti and set aside. Also set aside 4 tablespoons of the pasta water. Mince the onion, carrot, and bacon.
- 2
Coat a pan with olive oil and heat the onions over medium-high heat. Add the carrots and garlic and cook until the onions brown.
- 3
Add the meat and bacon and continue cooking. When the meat has browned, add the tomato, soup stock, bay leaf, and pasta and boil.
- 4
Once the liquid evaporates, season with salt and pepper. Plate and top with parsley and powdered cheese to complete.
- 5
Make bell pepper rice and cover it with this meat sauce, and you'll get your kids to eat their peppers!
- 6
Here it is in a scrambled egg and meat sauce sandwich
