Ingredients

  1. 1 stickunsalted butter
  2. 6 cupsmilk (about 1.4 liters)
  3. 2 cupscornstarch (about 250 grams)
  4. 2eggs
  5. 1/4 cupsour cream (about 60 grams)
  6. 1/2 cupsugar (about 100 grams)
  7. 1 cansweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397 grams)
  8. 1 tablespoonvanilla extract
  9. 1 pinchsalt

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Blend 3 cups of milk, sugar, sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, eggs, and sour cream in a blender.

  2. 2

    Strain the blended mixture.

  3. 3

    In a pot, heat the remaining milk over medium heat with the stick of butter and vanilla extract until it comes to a boil.

  4. 4

    Once the milk is boiling, add the strained mixture and stir constantly for 15 to 20 minutes until smooth and thickened.

  5. 5

    Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake until the top is golden brown.

    Let cool before serving.
