Cabbage N Sausage Dinner
Easy, filling, and affordable meal.
Steps

In a large bowl, Add hot water and a good amount of salt. Peel off the cabbage and let it soak in the mixture, string occasionally.

Ground sausage over medium heat. Add Jalapenos and Onion. When the meat is no longer pink, Add one can of stewed tomatoes with juice. Cover and set to warm.

While the mixture cools, cook the rice. When done add to the mixture letting the water absorb.

Add two cups of tomato juice cover and set to low while you cut up the cabbage.

Add the cut up cabbage and about 1/2 cup of water. Cover and set to simmer on low for 30 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
