🔸Sometimes it's more convenient to use fresh or frozen seafood mix, or separate frozen ingredients—you choose. I liked this frozen mix from Agrifer Congelados. I recommend it.

  1. Ingredients for 3 or 4 people
  2. 1 1/2 cupsbomba or brown rice (about 300 grams)
  3. 1tray of paella mix (shrimp, mussels, prawns, clams, and squid) from Agrifer Congelados
  4. 1 cupchopped onion, fresh or frozen
  5. 2 tablespoonschopped garlic, fresh or frozen
  6. 1 cupchopped green and red bell pepper, fresh or frozen
  7. 1grated tomato or chopped frozen tomato
  8. 1 packetground saffron
  9. 1little salt, oil, and fresh or frozen parsley (optional)
  10. 1 cartonfish or seafood broth or 1 quart of water and 2 fish bouillon cubes

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

    Ingredients

  2. 2

Thaw the paella mix in the refrigerator the day before.

  3. 3

In a large pan, add a little oil and the chopped vegetables, fresh or frozen, add a little salt, and sauté for about 7 minutes.

  4. 4

Add the squid rings, sauté them a bit with the vegetables.

  5. 5

Add the rice, mix, and sauté everything together.

  6. 6

Add the broth or water and fish bouillon cubes, the saffron, and mix everything well.

  7. 7

When it starts to boil, reduce the heat to low (from 6 to 1), and let it cook for about 30 minutes if using brown rice or 20 minutes if using regular rice.

  8. 8

Distribute the raw shrimp and prawns on top, and the mussels and clams among the rice, cover, and let it cook for about 5 minutes, until the seafood changes color.

  9. 9

Serve the rice, distributing the seafood on top.

  10. 10

In this case, we served it on two plates because one person doesn't like seafood and prefers just rice and clams.

  11. 11

We accompanied it with some potatoes, cooked in their bag in the microwave, and a bit of mayonnaise.
