Ingredients

  • Casserole Ingredients:
  • 4-5 cupmashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1/3 cupmelted butter
  • 2eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tspvanilla
  • Topping Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cupflour
  • 2 cupbrown sugar
  • 1 cupmelted butter; add more if mixture is to dry
  • 2 cupchopped pecans

Steps

    Bake sweet potatoes @ 350 for 1 hour; leave oven @ 350 degrees to bake casserole

  2. 2

    In a large mixing bowl peel and mash potatoes

  3. 3

    To potato mixture add sugar, milk, butter, eggs beaten, vanilla and mix together with mixer

  4. 4

    Pour mixture into cake pan

  5. 5

    For topping in a medium mixing bowl mix flour, brown sugar, butter and pecans and stir well; add butter if mixture is to crumbly

  6. 6

    Pour pecan mixture over potatoes and bake for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees
