Place the rice, water, and ginger in the Instant Pot. Cover and set on manual: high pressure for 30 minutes

After the 30 minutes is complete, may vent to open the Instant Pot. Add ~2-3 cups of additional hot water and set the Instant Pot on saute. Stir as it boils and thickens. Garnish and serve
