After peeling and cutting the potatoes into chunks, place them in a microwave-safe dish with water. Microwave for 10–15 minutes, depending on your microwave's power.

Drain the water, let the potatoes cool, then fry them until golden brown.

In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce, a splash of mustard, a few drops of hot sauce, the spices, and the two tablespoons of water.

Pour the sauce over the freshly fried potatoes. Be careful, they're hot!
