Bread pudding with vanilla drizzle

Ingredients

  1. 12 cupscubed bread like thick brio or croissants
  2. 1 tablespoonbutter, softened
  3. Custard: 6 eggs
  4. 3 cupmilk
  5. 3/4 cupsugar
  6. 1 tsp.Cinnamon
  7. 2 teaspoonsvanilla extract
  8. Vanilla drizzle 2 tablespoon butter
  9. 1 tablespoonflour
  10. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  11. 1 tbspvanilla extract
  12. 1 1/2 cupcold milk

Cooking Instructions

    Cut bread into cubes. To dry out place in oven for 10 minutes at 200° using parchment paper spreading a single layer of bread on the tins.

    Spread tablespoon of butter in a 9x13 pan brushing on sides and bottom. Spread bread into pan

    Whisk six eggs. Add milk, sugar, cinnamon and extract, whisking together. Slowly pour over bread. Can press down to add all the mixture into pan

    Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Insert toothpick and done when comes out clean

  5. 5

    In medium pan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoon butter. Add flour and mix for 1 minute.

    Add one half cup brown sugar, vanilla and blend overheat.

  7. 7

    Gradually add cold milk, stirring constantly until blended. Bring to boil over medium heat, whisking until thick. When coats back of spoon, it's finished.

    Pour over bread custard mixture.
