YELLOW SPLIT PEA FRITTERS (VEGAN)

Ingredients

40 minutes
16 fritters
  1. 12oz./336 gr. dry yellow split peas
  2. 1/2 C.diced onions
  3. 1/3 C.diced green bell pepper
  4. 1/3 C.diced red bell pepper
  5. 1/2 tsp.cumin powder
  6. 1 tsp.curry powder
  7. 1and ½ tsp. baking powder
  8. 2 Tbsp.chopped cilantro
  9. 1 tsp.salt

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash the yellow split peas with cold water. Place them in bowl cover with plenty water. Next day drain the yellow split peas and let drip all the liquid.

    Put the yellow split peas in a blender and make a paste with it.

  3. 3

    In a bowl mix the rest of the ingredients and combine with the yellow split peas paste.

    Make small patties and fry them in oil. Serve it immediately. Serve with a dipping sauce if you wish.
