Mouth watering prawn recipe for small house parties.
Steps

Wash the prawns. Marinate them with salt and turmeric powder and keep them aside.

Take the black and yellow mustard seeds, poppy seeds, and 2 green chillies in a bowl and soak them in water for 15 Minutes. Then remove them from water and make a smooth paste.
(I personally used Sil Batta but one can use a mixer grinder here) - 3
Make a paste of the two medium sized onions. Then also paste the garlic with a little ginger.

Take a wok and add 4 tbsp mustard oil. Carefully fry all the prawns.
P.S: Remove a little oil from the wok after frying and keep it aside for later use. - 5
Now in the oil add ½ tsp black mustard oil and let them splutter. Then put the onion paste and fry well. After it turns golden brown, add the garlic paste.

Once the raw smell of garlic is gone, add salt, turmeric, kashmiri red chilli powder, and coriander powder. Also add three split green chillies.

Once the spices are cooked and the oil starts to separate, lower the flame and slowly add the mustard paste. Mix well.

After the oil separates from the new mixture, add hot water. Mix well and bring it to a boil. Now add the fried prawns it and let it boil.

Let the gravy thicken according to your liking. Now put the oil that was kept aside. Also add some garam masala powder. Mix well and turn off the gas stove.

Now plate it and serve hot with rice or roti or paratha.
