Ingredients

  • 8 ccubed, toasted bread
  • 1/3 cbutter (or poultry fat)
  • 1large stalk celery, chopped
  • 1med onion, chopped
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1 Tdried parsley (2 T fresh)
  • 1 tsage
  • 1/4 tmarjoram (or tarragon)
  • 1/8 tpepper
  • 1/2 tsalt
  • 1 1/4 cchicken stock with water
  • 1 cmushrooms

Steps

  1. 1

    Slightly cook mushrooms

  2. 2

    Dice celery

  3. 3

    Prep all the ingredients in their specific sections

  4. 4

    In a large pan, melt butter and add salt

  5. 5

    Add celery, onions, and garlic. Simmer til fragrant (5 min max). Add mushrooms toward the end.

  6. 6

    Add herbs, spices, and chicken stock. Bring to a rolling boil.

  7. 7

    Quickly add and mix bread crumbs and cover. After a couple minutes, turn off heat.

  8. 8

    Let sit 5 min, then fluff with a fork/spatula, and serve.
