Place the chicken breast halves in a bowl and add the teriyaki sauce, salt, and black pepper to taste. Marinate for about 4 hours.

After marinating for 4 hours or longer, drain the chicken and set aside.

In the same bowl used for marinating, add half of the flour, the cornstarch, egg, Goya seasoning, milk, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well until smooth.

Add the mustard and return the reserved chicken breasts to the bowl. Coat the chicken thoroughly with the mixture.

To the remaining half of the flour, add a pinch of salt. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour, then in the wet mixture, and again in the flour.

Fry the chicken in plenty of hot oil on both sides until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
