Ingredients

  1. Chicken breast
  2. 1/2lemon, seeded and thinly sliced
  3. 1 teaspoonred pepper paste
  4. 1/2 teaspoontomato paste
  5. 1 tablespooncardamom
  6. 2 tablespoonsshawarma spice mix (1 tablespoon ground coriander, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1/2 tablespoon paprika, 1 teaspoon turmeric)
  7. 1 teaspoononion powder
  8. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  9. Optional: a handful of cashews, finely ground

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the chicken breast into thin strips.

    Sear the chicken over high heat with a little olive oil or any cooking fat you prefer.

    Stir constantly, adding the ingredients listed above (the chicken cooks quickly this way).

    Add a small cup of water (to keep the shawarma juicy) while maintaining high heat.
