This pretty little side dish can utilize any of your favorite vegetables. I have several versions of this salad. Here is one I like in Springtime.
For the dressing, I didn't give a specific amount. I layer dressing and don't use a lot. This part is personal preference too.

Ingredients

20 minutes
4 people
  1. 4 cupsshredded cabbage
  2. 2sliced Roma tomatoes
  3. 1 cupthinly sliced red onion
  4. 2 cupspeas
  5. 1 1/2 cupscrumbled feta
  6. 8 slicescooked bacon, chopped
  7. 4soft boiled eggs, sliced in half or chopped. Your preference
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 1 teaspoonpepper
  10. Caesar dressing

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare all ingredients.

    In a trifle bowl start layering.

  3. 3

    The first layer is cabbage.

  4. 4

    Then layer tomatoes over cabbage. Use some salt and pepper over the tomatoes. Then add a light amount of dressing.

    Add the layer of onions and then peas. I season the top of peas with salt and pepper.

    Sprinkle cheese then layer bacon then egg.

  7. 7

    Serve with extra dressing on the side.
