Homemade Kimchi Ramen from Scratch

I wanted ramen but only had noodles on hand... I improvised, and ended up making a ramen with an authentic, restaurant-quality flavor!
How this recipe came about: I realized I didn't have any soup base—what to do? I tried making my own soup, and to my surprise, it tasted just like something from a ramen shop!

Steps
- 1
Fill a large pot about halfway with water and bring to a boil. Add the bok choy (cut into bite-sized pieces) and sausages (sliced as desired).
- 2
Add the Chinese soup base, soy sauce, miso, and kimchi to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- 3
Once the vegetables and sausages are cooked through, add the ramen noodles. Cook until the noodles reach your preferred texture (I boiled them for 2 minutes).
