Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 300 gthinly sliced pork (or chopped is fine)
  2. 1 packbean sprouts
  3. 300 gfirm tofu
  4. 4onsen eggs
  5. 5 tablespoonssoy sauce
  6. 2 tablespoonsmirin
  7. 3 tablespoonssugar
  8. 1/4 cupwater (50ml)

    These are all the ingredients you need! If the pork is already in suitable sizes, you won't need a knife or cutting board. If the pork pieces are large, cut them into bite-sized pieces.

    Add all the ★ ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil. Add the pork and simmer while mixing in the flavor. Once the pork is cooked, add the bean sprouts, cover, and simmer for about 2 minutes.

    Uncover the pot and add the tofu by tearing it into pieces with your hands. Mix everything together, and once it starts bubbling, it's done!

    Serve rice in a bowl, generously top with the mixture from step 3, and add an onsen egg (microwave-cooked) on top. Enjoy!

    To make the onsen egg, place 50ml of water and 1 egg in a mug, cover with a small plate, and microwave at 500w for 50 seconds.
