Steps

Soak green gram in 1 cup of water for half an hour and cook till soft.

Cook finely chopped spinach separately till soft after adding little water (take care not to add too much water or it will turn soggy).

Now mix together the cooked green gram and spinach and add salt to taste

Grind coarsely the ingredients 3 to 7 and add to the above mix

Heat the oil in a pan and add a broken red chilly and splutter the mustard seeds.

After spluttering the mustard seeds add the whole spinach green gram mix into the pan and mix well in low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Use a flat spatula to stir so that it doesn't turn soggy.
