Ingredients

  1. 2whole cucumbers, thickly sliced
  2. 1 tspwhole peppercorns
  3. 2garlic cloves, sliced
  4. 1small onion, sliced
  5. 2 tbspsalt
  6. jarWater, to fill
  7. 2bay leaves
  8. 2 tbspvinegar

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the onions, peppercorns and onions first.

  2. 2

    Then add the cucumbers and bay leaves.

  3. 3

    Next add the vinegar and salt to the water in a separate jug and mix well until the salt has dissolved.

  4. 4

    Then add to the jar. Seal with lid

  5. 5

    The pickles should be ready in 5-7 days. You can taste one at around day 5.
