The sweet relationship between cinnamon and nutmeg. Elderly people, young children, or pregnant women might find this surprising. The origin of this recipe: In my hungry imagination, this dish was breaded, but I thought it might be too heavy, so I decided not to use oil. I thought the combination of cinnamon and nutmeg would add sweetness, and the mix of ketchup and soy sauce used in shrimp chili might work well with this, so I gave it a try.

Ingredients

  1. a
  2. 8 1/4 ozchicken thighs (thaw if frozen)
  3. b
  4. 1/2 teaspoonnutmeg powder
  5. 1/2 teaspooncinnamon powder
  6. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  7. 1 tablespoonketchup
  8. 1 tablespoongranulated sugar
  9. 1/2 teaspoonginger juice
  10. 1/2 teaspoongrated garlic
  11. c
  12. 1/2 teaspooncornstarch
  13. 1/2 teaspoonpotato starch

Steps

    1. Check if A is fresh, rinse lightly with water, and pat dry with a clean cloth.

  2. 2

    2. Mix ingredients B in a microwave-safe container, add the chicken from step 1, and mix well.

  3. 3

    3. Cover the container and microwave for about 5 minutes. Check if the chicken is cooked through, then transfer the chicken to a serving dish.

  4. 4

    4. Add C's cornstarch to the remaining juices in the container, mix, then add the potato starch, mix again, cover, and microwave for about 1 minute.

    5. Pour the sauce from step 4 over the chicken in the serving dish using a spoon.
