Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  1. Cooked rice for 2 rice balls
  2. 4shiso leaves
  3. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  4. 1 tablespoonmirin
  5. White sesame seeds, as much as you like

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the cooked rice with soy sauce, mirin, and white sesame seeds, then shape into 2 rice balls.

    Lightly oil a skillet and grill the rice balls over medium to low heat.

    Once they start to brown, flip and grill all sides evenly.

    Wrap each rice ball with shiso leaves on both sides and quickly grill again so the leaves stick to the rice balls.
