Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 packagesshirataki noodles
  2. as neededWakame seaweed,
  3. 4 sliceskamaboko (fish cake)
  4. 1 2/3 cupswater (about 400 ml)
  5. 1 tablespoonchicken bouillon powder (such as Better Than Bouillon)
  6. 1small amount of leafy greens or green onions
  7. Black pepper, to taste
  8. 2 1/2-3 tablespoonssoy sauce
  9. 1 teaspoonsake (or dry cooking wine)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the shirataki noodles into bite-sized pieces and parboil them.

  2. 2

    In a pot, combine the water, chicken bouillon powder, soy sauce, and sake. Bring to a boil. Add the leafy greens and cook briefly. Add the shirataki noodles and bring to a quick boil.

  3. 3

    Serve in bowls. Top with wakame, kamaboko, green onions, and sprinkle with black pepper.
