French Toast Sticks with Bread Crusts

My family loves sandwiches. That's why I get a lot of leftover bread crusts, since I usually chop them off.
My mother and I were thinking about a way to change these crusts into something delicious, and here's what we came up with.
It was actually a much better success than we first thought!
When you heat butter in a frying pan, don't take too much time before adding the bread crusts or it will burn.
If you have vanilla oil, make sure to add. When you eat it, you can really tell the difference to its flavor.
Eat with a fork. For 8 sticks. Recipe by Nanaiku

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the bread crusts If it's frozen, defrost before using. It's more tasty if there's a generous amount of the white parts.
- 2
Crack an egg into a bowl and beat well. Add milk, sugar, and vanilla oil and mix well.
- 3
Add all crusts into the liquid and set aside to let all sides soak it up.
- 4
Heat some butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add crusts when the butter is warm. Flip over when one side is brown, and continue to grill.
- 5
Keep on flipping them over and make sure that each side is grilled well. It's ready to eat when it's looking crispy and golden brown overall.

This is a recipe for French toast made with bread crust. I always make these when I accumulate leftover crust, since sandwich bread is expensive. My mother used to make this for me when I was a child, and now, it's my children's favorite breakfast. When flipping it over, it is better to use a spatula, but since it is made from crust, it may crumble. I first transfer it to a plate, then flip it over into the pan. For 4 servings. Recipe by Nayuho cookpad.japan -

This is my daughter's favorite french toast. Getting it ready before going to bed is a bit of a pain, but I thought, "There has to be an easy way to do it!" So I came up with this recipe.I usually let it soak for 2~3 minutes, but if you let it soak just enough, it will be nice and fluffy when you fry it up. You can use the remaining egg mixture to fill in the spaces between your slices of bread while frying! If you have 10 minutes, you can make it! Recipe by lei mama cookpad.japan -

Made With Frozen Bread! Easy and Fluffy French Toast Made With Frozen Bread! Easy and Fluffy French Toast
If you live alone, you end up with lots of extra frozen bread... So I was wondering what I could do to make it into a delicious dish, and ended up with this fluffy french toast.Piercing holes in the bread with a fork helps the flavors penetrate easily. Also, microwaving the bread allows it to soak up the egg liquid while thawing at the same time.If you are making it for 2, you can double the recipe. Or, you can increase the amount of milk and butter only!If you prefer to let the flavors soak into the bread even more, soak the bread at Step 3 for 5-20 minutes.Do not forget to flip the bread.
