I used shio-koji in this recipe. I've been using shio-koji to make various dishes, and so I used it to make French toast.

Steps

Whisk together the shio-koji, eggs, and milk, then soak the baguette slices in it.

Thoroughly immerse both sides.

Sprinkle granulated sugar on the tops of the slices.

In a heated pan, melt the butter, then fry the baguette slices, with the sugared side down.
- 5
Flip them over, then sprinkle more granulated sugar and fry.
