I wanted to make potato chips that aren't greasy and heavy on the stomach, so I came up with this easy microwave method.

Use the potato with the skin on. Remove any eyes.

Slice thinly using a slicer or knife. Soak the slices in water to remove excess starch.

Pat dry with paper towels and arrange on a paper towel.

Microwave at 600W for about 6 minutes or at 500W for about 7 minutes until lightly browned and not soggy. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
