This reciepe is very famous in Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Maharashtra and mostly made in every festival.I tried to make it and came out very well , so wanted to share with everyone.

This reciepe is very famous in Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Maharashtra and mostly made in every festival.I tried to make it and came out very well , so wanted to share with everyone.
Steps

Take maida in bowl and add little salt, sugar, water and make soft dough and keep aside for 15 mins. You add milk instead of water to make the dough soft.

Soak chana dal for 1 hour. Cook the dal with enough water. you can see by taking dal in hand,whether it is cooked or not. Do not over cook it. Once it is done drain the excess water and allow to dry in a plate for some time.

Then make fine powder and add jaggery and grind again.if it is dry, then make balls out of it. If the mixture is little wet then put it in sauce pan cook for sometime till it become dry. Then make small balls of this mixture.

Take fist full of dough,roll it into small puri,put the stuffing mixture on it and then cover on all side. Press it little to settle the mixture.

Roll this dough mixture into paratha gently without giving pressure.

Heat tawa and place this paratha on it and roast on both sides by applying ghee,till it turn golden.Serve hot and enjoy the delicious poli.
