Ingredients

Serves 3 to 4 servings
  1. 1.3 lbspork tenderloin block (beef is also fine)
  2. 1/2onion
  3. Salt, to taste
  4. Pepper, to taste
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 1/2 cupred wine
  7. 1bouillon cube (or consomme)
  8. 1 candemi-glace sauce (such as Heinz)
  9. 2 tablespoonsketchup
  10. 1 tablespoonmedium-thick sauce
  11. 1 tablespoonhoney
  12. 2 teaspoonsbutter (or margarine)
  13. 2 teaspoonsoil

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the onion into 1/4-inch pieces. Cut the pork into 3/4-inch thick slices and pierce both sides with a fork. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
