You can quickly and easily make a soft, half-cooked omurice using just one egg. Enjoy the delicious combination of fluffy eggs and curry!

Warm up the curry.

Heat a frying pan and add a little oil.

Add curry (1) to the pan (you can adjust the flavor with ketchup if you like).

Add the rice and stir with a wooden spatula until well mixed.
At this point, you can enjoy it as curry fried rice if you like!

Transfer step (4) to a plate and shape it into an omurice mound.

Beat the egg with a pinch of salt. Pour into a hot frying pan, stir gently, then spread out. Cook until just set on the bottom, leaving the top slightly runny. Do not flip.

Slide the egg onto the rice mound.
By not flipping the egg, you can make a soft, half-cooked omurice with just one egg!

Shape the egg gently with a spatula or similar tool.

Pour curry (2) over the top and add your favorite toppings to finish.
